Erica Cerra is a Canadian actress who was born on October 31, 1979. Her most famous role is the lead actress on Eureka, a Syfy show. Cerra was born in Vancouver British Columbia of Italian descent. The actress was attracted to acting from the age of eight, and was a part of numerous commercials when she was a kid. At one point, she paused her acting, but returned to it in 2001, at 22 years old. The actress was listed as one of Vancouver's top five actresses of the future according to Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine in 2005. Cerra played deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy TV show Eureka which ran from 2006 until 2012. Cerra also appeared in the music video from 2006 for the Michael Buble hit song Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra has been featured in several television shows that are popular, including Battlestar Galactica, The L Word and numerous others. Film credits include Blade:Trinity, starring Wesley Snipes and Ben Affleck as well as Man About Town. Cerras' face as well as her body were used in video game series Mass Effect to represent Ashley Williams. She has also appeared on Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff and as Dead Like Me. Her other shows include Cold Squad and the monster-hunting series Special Unit 2, and The Collector. Cerra married Raffaele Fiore in November 2010.
